Megan

Megan Courtney PA-C received her Master of Medical Science from the Wake Forest University Physician Assistant Program in 2011 and is a graduate of Northwestern University. She has been working alongside Dr. Vemuri since 2015. As his physician assistant, she helps to diagnose and treat various spinal conditions. She also regularly assists him in surgery. This time in the OR gives her unique insight to each patient’s condition and allows her to provide more comprehensive preoperative education and postoperative care to patients.

Prior to attending PA school, Megan worked as an athletic trainer for the United States Military Academy at West Point. She also worked as a clinic assistant at Duke University Sports Medicine. In her free time, she keeps busy with her two dogs. She also enjoys exercising—whether it be a CrossFit workout, bike ride, or trail run with the dogs.
